Lee Family Reunion 2008

We finally had a family reunion! I haven't seen most of my cousins in about 10 years maybe longer! Just about everyone is married and has kids! Its crazy! A lot of people were very surprised when they saw me since the last time they saw me I was about 4 feet tall and now I'm 6 feet tall! Quite the difference! ;0)
We had such a good time. We ate pizza, played the "animal game", played "signs", listened to Nana & the uncles talk about their lives and learn a little about them, and just hung out with each other. You don't realize how much you miss your extended family until you get together like that and then have to say goodbye. I hope we get together every other year or even ever 2 years like that. I had such a good time! Here are some cute photos from the party!

Merry Christmas To Us All!

This Christmas was absolutely amazing! It was so wonderful having Sawyer this Christmas! It made the spirit of Christmas so much stronger!t was such a joy to spend time with our friends and family.
Well, Nikki came in to town and on Christmas Eve her, my mom, Steven, Derik, Dave, Sawyer, and I went to Body World. What an amazing experience that was. A lot of people think its morbid but to me it was a confirmation that there is a Higher being in which we resemble. Our bodies are such magnificent instruments. They way things work, how we move, our ability to give life..... It is truly amazing. I was able to see what a baby looks like when it is 4 weeks old up to 32 weeks old. To be able to see the rapid growth in which Sawyer grew is just beyond amazing!
Later that afternoon, we headed up to Brandon's grandparents house for the family Christmas get together. That was so fun! Watching all the kids unwrap their presents, eating the yummy food, and just hanging out with the family was awesome!
That night we went to my mom's house and I tried to go to bed early cause Sawyer had been up a lot the night before but Sawyer decided he didn't want to miss Santa. He was up a TON that night. Needless to say I was a bit tired Christmas morning! We got up ate a yummy breakfast then opened presents! Sawyer of course got spoiled rotten! Brandon and I got some really nice gifts as well. After that we headed to my dad's and then to Brandon's parents. Christmas is always kinda busy for us, having 3 sets of parents and all but it was nice to see everyone. All in all it was a wonderful first Christmas for Sawyer and us! I can't wait for him to start getting excited about Santa and unwrapping his own presents!

Early Christmas Presents

This weekend Brandon and I got our Christmas presents! We got NEW WINDOWS for our home! I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to walk into my living room and not have a cold draft coming from the window! Our old windows were aluminum and they were just aweful. Sawyer and I have been living in my bedroom the past 3 months cause the rest of the house is so stinking cold. Now we'll be able to venture into the living room without freezing! Brandon's Uncle Alan was the one who installed them for us. He did an awesome job! We are so grateful for him, Grandpa Maxfield, and Karis for all their help on our windows! Now our Christmas will be warm! Yessssssss!!

Happy News!

My dad started his fifth month of chemo today with only one month to go!! He had a CT Scan last week and the Dr. gave us the news this morning. His lung has healed and his bones are much better. The lesion we thought he had on his liver and kidney are benign cists and not to be worried about. So...we are much encouraged and once again are making plans for the future. After his last chemo in January, he will go in once every 3-4 weeks for Zometa and Avastin but no more chemo! We are happy campers today! Thanks to all of your for your special prayers!

More Pictures!

It seems like all I ever blog about anymore is Sawyer! I can't help it he's become my life! He's such a joy! We've been so blessed to have him in our lives!
