I finally uploaded the pictures of my camera and there are some from Valentine's Day! Here are some cute ones I got...

We had a fun time!

Last weekend we headed up to the cabin and I brought along my mom and step-dad. I wasn't able to do much other than sit inside and read, eat, sleep, etc but my parents went on rides with Brandon and his parents and they had some fun. My mom did get a little lost one of the rides which was probably pretty traumatic but she said she still had fun. That's all that matters. Here are some cute pics from there fun ride...

Even though I wasn't able to do much it was still nice to get away and relax a bit.

Yesterday, I had my 28 week appointment and things are going well still. I still have about 20 more lbs before I get to my weight I was with Sawyer. I am hoping to not reach those 20lbs but these last few months are when the babies start packing on their weight so we'll see. The boy weighs a little over 2 1/2 pounds while the girl is just under 2 1/2 pounds. They have moved once again. Last appointment they were head down and now the girls head is on my left side and the boys head is on my right. Weird. I don't know how they still have that much room to move around. Boggles my mind. I have been having a few problems lately though. I have been getting varicose veins on my legs which are making my legs throb plus they are swelling. I told my doctor about those problems and she recommended compression socks. I tried them for the first time this morning and they are SO DANG TIGHT! I got the thigh highs and they took me about 10 minutes no joke struggling to get them on! It was nuts! I did get them on and so far they have made my legs feel better. I can deal with the feeling my legs are being suffocated for the next 2 months as longs as they don't throb like they were! I asked my doctor when we discuss the c-section date and she said that I will go in to see here in 3 weeks and we will pick the date then. I freaked out a little!! In 3 weeks I will know the birth date of my twins! That is just insane to me! I went home and told Brandon we need to get Sawyer moved in to his room this weekend and we need to put the babies cribs up and get EVERYTHING done! lol Today, I was washing walls, doors, and baseboards. I am either nesting or just freaking out! I just want to be as ready as I possibly can be..... Heaven help us!

Sawyer has been so stinking funny lately! So I have given up on potty training him but I have got him trained to bring me in a diaper when he wakes up! Yes, I really wish he was potty trained but at least he brings me his diapers! The other day he came into my room and asked me if I saw the monsters. I told him I hadn't seen them and asked him where he saw them. He said "Outside." Me: "Were they nice monsters or mean monsters?" Him: "Nice monsters." Oh good! Thankfully they were nice monsters! Some of the stuff they say is hysterical! He is adorable!

Love Day

What a wonderful Valentine's Day we had! I spent the morning kinda cleaning house, took Sawyer to the park, then went home to make a nice Vday dinner. I made some nummy chicken, baked potatoes, salad, green beans, and corn bread. Turned out pretty good. Brandon brought me home a huge beautiful bouquet of flowers! We said no gifts but he did anyway. Little stinker! After dinner we went to Boondocks and bowled for a while. By the end of our games we were exhausted! Sawyer had us running everywhere! He has sooo much energy! We were going to let him play in the Kiddie Cove but he was exhausted too so we decided to just go home. He fell asleep in the car so we were able to just put him in bed. It was only 8:30! Brandon and I got to spend the rest of the night just being together! It was amazing! So nice to just relax and be just the two of us. Brandon even gave me a foot rub! Is there any better gift?! lol We had a wonderful time! Sawyer didn't wake up the next morning until 9am! Can't complain about that! :)

Time

I am 27 weeks. That means I only have 10 more weeks before I deliver these two babies (if everything goes well and they stay where they are). Can you say CRAYNESS?!

Also, I just wanted to post about my support belt I have been using for over a month now.

Seriously, this was the best $40 I have ever spent! Helps lift the babies off my bladder (as much as it can!) and helps keep my back supported and in line. Best thing ever!

Teeth

I went to the dentist today and Sawyer got to go with me! He got to sit on my lap while they cleaned my teeth and he got to run all over creation! I was so afraid that he was running and bugging people but no one really minded. It was really nice! He even let the dentist look at his teeth! The next time I go in they want me to bring him again and get him use to the dentist. They gave him a toy for being so good, let him play with the spit sucker thing, play with fake teeth, and gave him his own toothbrush, floss picks and tooth paste! He did so well! I hope he doesn't have horrible experiences like I always did. I hated the dentist. Still do actually! hahah It went really well though! That night before I put him to bed I got out his floss picks the dentist gave him and helped him floss his teeth! He LOOOVED it!

He would stick it between his front teeth and wiggle his head back and forth! We even started him on Fluoride toothpaste and have been teaching him to spit out in the sink. Such a big boy!

Also, lately he has been doing so many things! He is a very busy busy boy but its so fun to watch! He is speaking in full sentences, singing songs like Twinkle Twinkle, ABC's, Sun Beam, saying prayers now, and he is obsessed with Thomas the Train! I was going to do his new room in motor cycles but he absolutely loves Thomas so I decided to switch it! I bought him a Thomas the Train comforter, pillow, and we've got some pics to put up in his new room along with a Thomas boarder! My mom is going to be coming this week to help me so we can get him moved in so he has time to get adjusted to it before the babies come. I don't want him to think that we are PUSHING him out because of the baby that's why I want to give him a few months to get use to it and hopefully having a new room will make him excited!

The weather was nice last week so I was able to take Sawyer to the park quite a bit. He is just so dang big that it kills me to watch him do all these big boy things! He goes down the big slide without help, wants to climb up the bars, cross the bars and just run around and explore. He sat at a storm drain for a good half hour just throwing stuff down it! I couldn't believe that he spent so much time doing that. He'd rather put stuff down it then play on the playground. What a weirdo kid! Gotta love him though!
He's so dang cute! He's grown so much in the last little while too. He's 30 lbs now! Big boy. I am surprised he is that big. I think the only thing that is helping him fill out is the Boost I've been giving him in his milk. Its got 15 grams of protein and a bunch of vitamins. He's suuuuuch a picky eater its nuts that he has gained any weight at all. It takes me about an hour + to get him to eat. He's stubborn as all get out. Here is an example..... Brandon brought home a sucker so I gave it to Sawyer as a treat. He put it in his mouth and began running around the house so I took it from him and told him he had to sit in his chair if he wanted to eat it. He folded his arms and gave me a "Humph" and took off running again. So I told him I was going to eat it and he came and yelled No so I told him again to get in his chair and he could do it. He did the "humph" again and took off. This went on for probably a good 20 minutes and finally I ate the darn sucker! Brandon wasn't too happy about me eating it but I am going to have 2 more children here soon so I can't just let him get away with things or let him think that if he is stubborn he will get what he wants. So I ate it! Maybe that makes me bad but I have to put my foot down when he is being like that. I would love to say he gets his stubbornness from his daddy, which he does, but I am also stubborn so he had no hope of not getting it! What do you do though right?! He is sure a sweet boy and I absolutely love him to pieces!

Burst

The evening of my grandma's funeral Brandon had gone home to do something and he suddenly heard a noise like running water. Come to find out we had a pipe burst. Lucky us. In all honesty, we have been expecting it to happen. Every year our pipe to our upstairs shower always freezes. We are just so lucky that Brandon was there when it happened so he was able to shut off the water with minimal damage. We had to stay at his parents house and were finally able to come home last night. Its hard to be away from your house for that long. Brandon and his dad spent most of Sunday trying to work on it. They tore out one side of my shower and come to find out they didn't need to do that! All they needed to do was go outside and fix the pipe through our siding which was much easier. Oh well though. Guess I'll be getting a new shower! Think we'll be going to get some new tile this week and hopefully we (when I say we I mean Brandon! It kinda sucks not being able to do much to help) can get it back to normal and working this week. Crossing fingers. Oh the joys of being a homeowner!

Viewing/Funeral

Wednesday was my grandma's viewing. Earlier that day Nikki came into town and her, my mom, aunt, cousin, and I went down to the mortuary and were able to dress my grandma. I put on her beautiful earrings and necklace. I had a really hard time putting on the clothes though. It just wasn't her. I was use to her body being warm and soft. That part threw me. So while everyone else put her clothes on I watched. I did help put on her lip stick though. She always had to wear her lipstick! The viewing was really nice.
That night I decided to rewrite my entire speech I was going to be giving. While I was trying to write it, I had to keep helping Brandon hold up our microwave (Hooray we finally got one. Hopefully this one works for longer than 2 weeks) and he was putting together our new stroller for the babies. I was so panicked but so exhausted that I went to bed around 11:30 but didn't sleep much. The next morning I decided I would just kind of wing my speech. It turned out alright. I wish I would have done a little better and not have been so nervous but it got a few sniffles and that was what I was hoping! After the funeral we headed to the grave site and we released 24 pink balloons into the air while "How Great Thou Art" played. It was beautiful to see all those balloons. I hope she got them! We headed back to my mom's church and her relief society had a wonderful luncheon prepared. Delicious food!!! It was so sweet of them to do that for us. Sawyer got a nice workout from my cousins kids too! I told them they need to come to my house and tucker him out everyday! We went back to my moms house and all of us were beat. Such an emotional day. She will be missed so much.
