Lots Of Updates

I will begin with my trip to Vegas! I had a blast with my brother and sister. I was exhausted by the time we got home though! We left early Friday morning and got there around noon. We went to Madam Tussuad's Wax Museum and had a ton of fun there! Got some pretty funny pics out of that! I tried crab legs for the first time. Ew. Hated them.

We love us some ranch dressing! Their salads were awesome! We did a lot of walking and had a lot of fun. I like brother/sister trips! New tradition I am thinking! These are the PJ's I got from the M&M factory in Vegas! We are twiners!

The day before we left, Brandon and I went to go look at a Suburban a guy was selling and we decided we liked it. That night Brandon put his Accord on KSL to see if he could sell it. I left Friday morning and he had someone come look at it that night! It was sold by Saturday afternoon! Crazy how fast it went. When I got home we were able to get our Suburban that Wednesday! I love it! Its leather, DVD player, heated seats, spacious, pretty and oh so smooth! The only problem with it is the gas tank! Huge chunk of change to fuel the sucker. I don't travel far so that is good. I still love it though!! So pretty!

Mine and Brandon's 5 year anniversary was the 25th! I still can't believe we have been married that long! We have been together for 10 years. That's even crazier! Our anniversary was on a Tuesday so we took of Monday took Sawyer to the Aquarium in Sandy and he loved it! There were so many neat fish for him to look at and we even got to touch sting rays! He wouldn't touch them but I got to! He loved it and so did we!

After the aquarium we took him to my in-laws and we headed to dinner. We went to our favorite restaurant Tepanyaki! It was to die for! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE that place! We ate our wonderful dinner and talked and laughed then we went to the theater to see

Shrek Forever After. I wasn't expecting much but I loved it! I thought it was really good. After the movie we headed to Taco Time for some Mexie Ice and Curros! Mmmm sooo goood! We went home to our empty house (Sawyer had his first sleep over at Gma & Gpa Schramms) and we played games, laughed, talked, and watched a movie. It was a wonderful day! Perfect really. I enjoyed being with Brandon so much. We haven't laughed that hard at each other in a while it seems. I can honestly say he is the perfect guy for me. He puts up with me so well!! I am so glad I am his wife!

Swim Lessons

Sawyer has been doing so well at swim lessons! Next week is the last week for his level 1 swim lessons but I might have him sign up again right away to do level 2. Yesterday, I had Brandon take him in the water while I watched and he did so good with him! I think Sawyer liked his dadda time! My step mom LK came to watch him too. Now all of his grandparents have been there to watch him! I love it!! It makes me feel really good that they all came to watch and support him! We've got such great parents/grandparents!!

F I V E

Sawyer is getting so big! I was in the car with him yesterday and I was singing the ABC's and then I decided to count with him. I said "One, two, three...." and he said "four, five!" I couldn't believe it! I was shocked. He can count to 5 now! He is so smart! :)

False Alarm

I hate when I have pregnancy false alarms. It scare the beegeezies out of me. I had one and thankfully the test came back negative. I didn't want a January baby if I didn't have to. January is a great month but not for having my kids. I want warm weather birthdays! Plus, maternity pants for me would be outrageous! Thank goodness it was a false alarm. Whew!

Graduation, Prom, Mother's Day

This post has taken me a while but better late then never!

My brother Derik graduated from SLCC's nursing Friday! We did a little celebratory dinner for him Thursday night and it was great! I made cupcakes which looked like a 3 year old frosted them (I forgot all my piping tools at home so I used a ziploc baggie. Not nearly as good.)

His graduation was Friday night and it was an exciting night for him!

Saturday my lovely niece Ashlie went to a dance for Roy High and asked me to do her make up. She looked so dang gorgeous! She belonged on the red carpet if you ask me!

So dang gorgeous! I found myself wishing I looked like her!!

Mother's Day was nice. Brandon made me a egg burrito with salsa and brought it to me in bed. It was delicious! He also gave me a very sweet card that said "Queen for a day"! I think I do get that way when its Mother's Day. I expect to be treated great that one day! lol

We went to church and I got to sub in nursery for one of my friends in my ward. It was actually pretty fun. I would have had to stay in there the whole time anyway since Sawyer won't let me leave without puking on someone so it wasn't bad. I had about 4 kids trying to sit on my lap at different times! Kids are so dang amazing! So trusting! And a good judge of character if I do say so myself! :) Sawyer wasn't real thrilled with the kids sitting on his mommas lap so he tried to push them off in a sneaky sly way and then with one little girl he just sat on her til she moved! I just sat there wondering how he was going to deal with a sibling when he gets one. It'll be interesting that's for sure!

After church we headed to my grandparents house for dinner so I could spend time with my mom and grandma. We ate a delicious turkey dinner! Made me a little sleepy though! I took Sawyer out in their back yard to swing and then we just played around. I chased him and we played Ring around the Rosie's. He loved the fall down part! Cute little stink.

We headed to Brandon's parents to visit with Kelly. Danielle and her kids were there so we got to spend a little time visiting with them too which was nice. I didn't end up getting home until around 8:30 pm. It seemed like such a busy day but it was great! I love being a mommy and I love my mommy, my mother-in-law and my step-mom! I am so blessed to have each of them in my life! I am so blessed to be able to be a mommy too. I love it! Nothing in my life is more rewarding!

What a Day

I went and exercised yesterday morning at 4:30 am. I didn't sleep well that night even though I had taken a Tylenol PM. 4:30 came way too quick! I got my butt out of bed and headed to the gym. I did an hour work out and got home kinda early. I thought "Awesome I can sleep for at least 2 hours before Sawyer wakes up" Oh I was so wrong. As soon as I walked in the house I heard him coughing and asking for water. I brought him some water and he cried and wanted me to hold him. I was pretty tired so I grabbed him and just brought him into our bed figuring he would just fall asleep. I was wrong. He didn't sleep. Didn't even want to. He wanted to watch Elmo. I turned it on and tried to sleep through Elmo but he was moving constantly so no sleep came to me. I was very grumpy the rest of the morning. When it was time to go home I put Taya in the car and the next thing I knew she had jumped on my keys and locked herself in my car!! I was pretty violent after that. I couldn't believe that had happened. Ugh. I had to go to my mother-in-laws and borrow her car to go get my keys. Taya was locked in my car for about 40 minutes or so. Crazy how those things happen.

Later that night we had swim lessons again. This time Sawyer put his whole face in the water and was able to blow bubbles without drinking the water! What a big boy he was! We circled the little kid area and if the kids fell face first in the water we would flip them around so they were on their back. Trying to teach them to roll over if they ever fall in. Smart I think. He did so good! No puking either! Hooray!!

We also got Sawyer a really really adorable Hot Wheels 4-wheeler! Its orange and he loves it! I'll post pics when I get some.
