Our Little Guys Ultrasound

We had our monthly doctors appointment on Tuesday and things went really well. I had the doctor do an ultrasound because a few weeks ago I was in a car accident and wanted to make sure everything was ok. He thought that would be a good idea so he took us in and we started watching our little guy move around. My doctor kept moving the ultrasound around my tummy and said "We found out it was a girl right?" The look on Brandon & my face was probably classic to see. We both told him no that it was a little boy. He kept telling us "No, I'm pretty sure its a girl. I don't see any male parts." I watched the color practically drain from Brandon's face! We kept looking at the screen trying to find some kind of a sign that he was wrong but he kept skipping over it. Finally after a few minutes of torturing us he told us he was kidding and we got to see the little "male part"! He is still a boy! Whew! Brandon was starting to sweat there for a minute! We also got to see his face. I am thinking he might have my chipmunk cheeks! Here is a picture of his cute little face. He will have chubby cheeks no doubt about it!

Pregnancy & Impulse Decisions

So I did something a little crazy on Tuesady I CHOPPED MY HAIR OFF! I've been wanting to cut it for a while now but thought I'd wait until after the baby came. Turns out that was too long to wait! I am thinking these hormones are kicking in stronger cause I'm not usually one for impulse decisions. We had a doctors appointment then I took Brandon to get his hair cut (He looks sooo good when he cuts his hair) so I went with him and started looking at magazines for short hair. I kept seeing the hair cut I wanted and showed Brandon. He told me I should just do it but help me out ladies, its hard to cut your hair when you've had it long for sooo long. I decided to be spontaneous and just do it and man was it hard at first! The gal that does our hair had my hair and scissors in her hand and kept saying "you ready?". After a few minutes of debating I told her she'd just have to do it. She took of 8 inches! For me that's a ton! I have never had my hair this short in my life! I love it though! Its nice to wake up hair spray it a little then be on my way. Plus, with the heat its nice to have it off my neck. Here are some pics of Brandon & my new hair cuts!

June Lee Family Party

We had our monthly family party on Sunday and it was so much fun! We had delicious food and we got to play some frisbee, volleyball and just hung out and talked. Everyone was able to make it but Nikki, Nathan, Chloe, Halle, & Sweden which of course we missed a ton! Its always so nice to just relax and hang out with family and get updates on everyone. We took some cute pictures so enjoy looking at them!

I Need to Vent...

Ok just for all of you who are not pregnant and are very thin and cute but know a pregnant woman.... DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HER WEIGHT UNLESS ITS NICE!! Such as "Oh your tummy is so cute". I am getting sooo sick of people saying things to me like "Wow, you sure there aren't twins in there?" or "You sure he's not ready to come out now?" or "You look like you're ready to pop". Its just rude and it hurts peoples feelings especially us prego chicks who are already having a tough time with the weight gain and the body changes. I have had this one person in particular say something rude to me like that everytime I see them. I have a really hard time being around this person without wanting to say something rude back. I'm sure its the hormones and me being oversensitive but what do you expect I'm 29 weeks pregnant! I have only gained about 10-15 pounds so I think I'm doing well so far. Just last week I was with a big group of people and they were all telling me how good I looked and how tiny my belly was so I left there feeling pretty good about myself then I went and saw this person and they said I looked like I was having twins.... completely ruined my day. Brandon tried to make me feel better by telling me I looked great and I was gorgeous and so on but when someone says something like that.... its hard to believe the good over the bad. It took all those wonderful things the other people were saying to me and made it seem like I was being lied to. It was very hurtful and I am still having issues about it today as you can tell! I love my pregnancy body and think that it is a wonderful gift from the Lord but its hard to feel that way when someone tears you down like that. Ok I'm done venting. Here is an updated picture of my beautiful pregnant belly!

Brandon's 1st Father's Day!

I know its been a week since Father's Day but I had to show off what I got Brandon! I wanted to get him something cute and sentimental like a shirt that said "#1 Dad" or something cute but he said he wanted an edger/weed eater. I thought about that and thought what a good idea it was! So I got him what he wanted and it works great! Our lawn is looking tons better..... at least in the front! Don't you just love the glasses & socks!! :)

Busy Weekend!

This weekend was great but pretty busy! Friday I got to spend sometime with some of my best friends Ashlee & Kelli. We got to go to our favorite restaurant Olive Garden (aka OG). We mainly go there for the salad, bread sticks, and of course their desserts! I had to get my favy the Black Tie Mousse Cake. If you haven't tried this.... you are missing out!

Saturday was great cause I got to go to Vida's baby shower! Her sister-in-law Heatherly put it on for her and I loved the table settings! They were absolutely adorable! The little flowers on the plates were made by her little girl. I took a bunch home cause they were so cute!

It was so neat watching her open up all her presents! It kinda makes this whole baby thing seem really real now! As if the belly wasn't enough huh?! lol Here is a cute picture her, her two best friends & I.

Getting ready for the baby!

We are slowly starting to accumulate some baby furniture! We are borrowing a crib and changing table from my brother and sister-in-law Daren & Shawna! We picked up the furniture from them on Saturday and it only took us about an hour to set them both up! lol It really wasn't too bad.

Here is what they looked like when we got through putting them together! Also, for Mother's Day Brandon bought me the baby bedding I wanted so here are a few pictures of both of them. Keep in mind I still need to paint! The bedding is safari with a bunch of cute animals on it!

When we were in Jamaica we went shopping a little and found a really cute onesie for our little man. I just hadto let everyone see it! He's going to be so adorable in it!
