Aluminum Foil (Interesting)

You know when you try to pull some foil out of the box and the entire roll comes out of the box? Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start all over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time. Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday, I got an email from a friend to look at the end of the Aluminum Foil box. So I went home and looked. Written on the end it said, "Press here to lock end". Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place! How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one too. I then looked at a box of Saran wrap and looky there! Same thing! I can't count the number of times the Saran wrap roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover something up. I hope I'm not the only person that didn't know about this. Wasn't this suppose to be something our mother's taught us??? I can't believe its been there all this time! Who looks at the end of an aluminum foil box?! I know you're going to go and check your boxes, so go ahead!

This is VERY interesting, as you say. I had no idea. I just checked, and even my Polish plastic wrap has the tabs. (foil doesn't come in a box. Just a roll). Thanks for sharing!

BTW, I always get your posts on my google reader, I'm just bad about commenting. Sawyer is so darling, and I love the stuff you post!
And I'm slowly coming around to you not being the tiny cousin in my memory :)
