My Poor Baby/Jayden's Birthday

Yesterday was a hard day for my poor Sawyerbear! Kelly called me about 10am freaking out (when I mean freaking out I mean FREAKING OUT!) saying that Sawyer was having an allergic reaction to something, his eyes were swollen shut and he had broken out in a rash. Its not a good idea to make a momma bear panic when she is about 35 minutes away from her baby! I started freaking out and told her to take him to the doctor immediately. I called Brandon all in a panic and told him he HAD to come get me cause I had no car. I told my boss I was leaving and my supervisor decided to freak me out even more by asking if he was breathing! I hadn't even thought of his airways closing off cause of the allergy. I was almost hysterical after that. When Brandon got here I ran out and he said that Sawyer was breathing fine. Whew! When we got to the doctor I opened the door to his room and nearly broke down. Kelly was holding Sawyer and he was in nothing but a diaper. He had a horrible rash from head to toe and he could only see out of tiny slits in his eyes. I wanted to cry but knew if I freaked out it would upset him. When he saw me walk in he smiled and got so excited so I ran and took him from Kelly. The doctor checked him out and asked us if we've given him anything new. The only thing we have given him was Similac formula. He said that a reaction like this probably wasn't due to the formula. Kelly said he might have gotten into one of her plants at home which is what we are thinking happened. Oh man was it ever so sad. He didn't even look like Sawyer! The doctor told us to give him Benadryl and this other allergy stuff and just watch him. He was able to sleep for about an hour and a half and he acted perfectly fine. I had to run to the store and I took him. It was so funny to watch peoples reactions to him! Usually people say "Oh what an adorable baby boy" but this time when people saw him they just kinda looked at him. It was funny but sad at the sametime! Here is a few pictures of the sad baby...

This morning his eyes were still a tiny bit puffy but he looked much better. Poor baby!

Yesterday was also my nephew Jayden's 13th Birthday! I can't believe he is already 13. Makes me feel so old! Here are some cute pics of my family last night.
