I remember being in high school in a cooking class when our principle came over the intercom and told us that the 2 towers in New York were hit by a plane that was taken over by terrorists. I remember fear shooting through every inch of my body. I remember saying a silent prayer for those who were in those towers and for the families who had loved ones in them. I remember how the entire country seemed to unite. There was more love, more friendliness, and more union than I ever remember there being. As time moved on it seems that the story of what happened has been flipped around and distorted but it is something I will never forget. God bless the families who lost loved ones, the men and women who gave their lives to save others, and those out serving to protect our freedoms. They will never be forgotten.

Doesn't it just pull at your heart? I have been watching video's all day of them and it is surreal to me.
I can't fathom being in the towers when the plane hit, or watching the planes hit.
May we never forget.
My heart broke all day this year on the eleventh. Monsters.
