This week Brandon and I decided to go try out some SUV's. We are wanting something with three rows of seats, and something with towing capabilities. We had about 8 SUV's we wanted to look at but once I looked at the Suburban that was pretty much all I wanted to try. It was pretty fun to go test drive the cars though. We laughed and laughed about how funny car salesmen are. We were in the parking lot for about 2 seconds when one was already hunting us! I teased that we should weave in and out of cars and run get back in our car and take off! Just to be cruel! It would have been hilarious! We decided to be nice.
We looked at a few cars like a Sequoia, Tahoe, Pilot and a few others but decided we really like the space in a Burban. I want something that we can put the back seats down and have plenty of room in the back to go to a drive in movie. I love drive ins! We have pretty much decided on a Suburban. Our goal now is to fix up Brandon's car and sell it, pay off my car, and buy a decent burban. Just got to find a good price.
Sawyer is being such a doll. He has started trying to sing. He sings Pat a cake and some of Twinkle Little Star. Its adorable! He is so dang smart. We bought him Elmo's Potty Time to see if we can get him to start wanting to use his Elmo Potty. I try to have him sit on the potty at least 3 times a day. Just to get use to it. I don't think he is really ready for it but I am trying to just put it out there for him.
I talked to his Doctor about his PH test and the results weren't good. He basically failed the 'test'. The doctor said she thinks he needs to have surgery. Sigh. I am praying we can find some alternative or pray that he will soon out grow it......
Here are some of his test results:
During the 20 hours he was monitored he refluxed 155 times. When he coughed/choked it was 100% caused from his reflux. The acid in his esophagus was very high. Normal is 6% or less his was 15%. Duration of his reflux was 6 minutes (way too long). Basically, it's bad. We have a name of a surgeon and we are going to set up a meeting to see what he has to say. I want to know all the risks of not getting it done and and risks of the surgery. Plus, of course the benefits. I just hope everything turns out well and we can help stop him from having all the pain.
