Well I made my Black Tie Mousse Cake. It turned out pretty good for my first time I think. It took me about 8 hours to make too. Ugh. Definitely not something I will be making unless its a super special occasion. My friend Tia supervised me the entire time! Thanks Tia!

My mom had her surgery on Friday and things went well thankfully. They had to do a lot more work than they originally thought they were going to have to do and she now has a screw in her shoulder! I have the lovely task of helping her shower, dress, eat, and I get to help her with her exercises! I get to torture her! lol I'm so thankful everything went smoothly for her. Hopefully she'll be able to recover lickidy split!
