So I am trying to decide on what baby gear we still are in need of. Thankfully, we can use Sawyer's old infant car seat still so we only have to buy one more carseat. That is a relief. The difficult thing right now is strollers! I don't know which stroller would be best a double tandem front/back stroller

or a double side by side.

(Not actual strollers I am considering. Just examples)
There are pros and cons to both so I am struggling trying to decide which will fit our needs the best. A problem I see with a tandem one is that when the kids get older I don't want to have one kid kicking the one in front and the other screaming about it! I'm sure that will get on my nerves quickly! The problem I see with the side by side is that it is so wide how can I fit it easily through doors or store isles?! I am just clueless as to which would be better. Brandon wants the side by side but I am just not sure.
Also, I am planning on nursing for as long as I can (crossing my fingers it will be at least 9 months) and I have a boppy pillow but with things I have been reading they aren't nearly large enough to support two babies. There is another pillow thing like it but much larger. Most people who have used it have found it very useful.

I am also thinking about making my own nursing cover. I had one when I nursed Sawyer but lost it within a week of having it. Ugh. I found a website with a decent patern and directions so I am going to try it and maybe make some improvements! My friend Tia started to teach me how to crochet last night. All the work I did which wasn't much and took lots of time, I have to go back and unravel cause I did it wrong! It was kinda fun though. Think I will keep at it and see what kinds of things I can creat! May as well!
I have been hearing about a band that you use post-pregnancy that helps "shrink your tummy" and I am seriously thinking about getting one! I am huge already and still have 4 more months so I know its going to be difficult shrinking back to 'normal'. Its called the Belly Bandit!
Might not hurt to try right?! I am going to be canceling my gym membership since I haven't gone since October and that was only once since I was so sick the 1st part of my pregnancy. I do want to go but between watching my gma (who is doing much worse), having a 2 year old, and wanting to spend time with my husband when he gets home at nights I just don't have the time. And when the babies come..... There is just NO way I will be able to get to the gym for the first say 2 years! So why keep paying. Sigh. I love the gym but its just not worth it right now. Its always a sad thing to get rid of your gym pass. Hopefully I can find some time to start walking though. After things kind of slow down.

oh the dilemas of kids hu!?!:) we had the same struggle over strollers... i thought the boys would be able to play next to eachother but at the end of the day i have a hard time getting a single stroller through places like the mall or doors and i dont want to have to not go places cuz i wont fit-- so we went for the front and back graco one!! It seems nice and everyone who has one likes it so we will see!!! The belly bandit-- yes i have a lot of friends who used it and swear by it!! It helps push in your hips and what not!! ( although they have lots of different brand of ones) i will definitly be using one this time!! Good luck!!!
I say go for the front and back stroller. I think not fitting through doors or isles very easily will be more annoying than one kicking the others seat sometimes. They may not even do that though. Jenny has girls that are less than 2 years apart and if one of them fell asleep, the back seat layed down so they could sleep easier. I thought that was a nice feature too.
There are definatly pros and cons to both type of strollers. Kev and I ended up getting a chariot, It isn't as bulky as a side by side but we got it mostly cause we can also attach it to our bikes, which it works out beautifully for what we need. Our kids love it too! I am totally with you on the dilama with the gym too, I got Kev and I a gym pass last year for Christmas and we hardly ever used it! So we canceled it like 4 months into it, It is so hard to try and find the time and someone to watch the kids while you go to the gym, but hopefully with a nice stroller you can get lots of walks in to get some nice exercise.
if you like to jog i'd choose the side by side. we had one for the boys and it's been great. just make sure you can lock the wheels or have them free wheel. It's not too bad going through doors since most places have the wheelchair button access so you don't have to hold the door.
